Postal service test question. I got scammed.?

Ok so I fell for a stupid ad on signing up to take the postal service test. It was a 1-888 number and it was over $100 for the study material and test. They said it was fuly refundable if I failed the test so I agreed to it. But I thought about it and looked online and saw study programs for of course less than 100 bucks. I was lucky enough to call them back and have it cancelled before they actually charged my card. Anyways, my question is, I was wondering if you all know a real number or where I can sign up for the test. I can’t find it anywhere online…all I found were 1-800 numbers. I really want to take the test but I don’t know who to contact. I’m scared to call any numbers now lol. So if anyone could help, without any negative comments, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

If and when the USPS is giving the exam in your area, there will be an advertisement in your newspaper. However, the USPS is currently under a hiring freeze. Unless you are a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, I seriously doubt the test will be administered any time soon.

The USPS is attempting to eliminate 1,400 managerial and supervisory personnel and 150,000 craft employees.
