How do I know if my stamp collection worth anything?

I have several complete sets of stamps from different times and a lot of 1 / 2 11 / 2 and three percent of stamps.how do I know what they are worth?

The first Hard Way needs a catalog and then search through it and the price of stamps, it is best to place them in a list on the computer with the catalog numbers on them. The difficulty is that this is the price of the stores charge if you want that the stamp. So the real price is the price you get for that label. That is basically about a third of the value of inventory. To Do List and if then you can go to a dealer without a hand stamp, [which means that possibly going to offer a lower price]. My husband swap stamps and works in the catalog of value for what is not paid in money for a swap, which exchanges with the value of the catalog may be that this could help, but I am saying is the only way. We live in the UK, so I guess it is U.S. stamps, but if you're interested in helping them wanting more after email through Yahoo and I'll see if I get more help.
